This album is the perfect blend of 80's-inspired Pop and Synthwave, with epic soaring melodies layered with passionate lyrics that are deftly expressed with powerhouse vocals. Favorite tracks are Hinterlands and Live Wire. I wish Blue Nagoon's voice was featured more on the album, to balance out the more female-led songs. His voice is the perfect timbre for this style of music. But regardless, I can't stop listening to it!

A beautifully moody EP of post-folk created by Sharon Murphy and her family. By the time I listened for the 3rd time, I knew that this will stay in my favorites list for a long time. All of the arrangements -- though quite varied -- let the acoustic instruments speak along with Sharon's voice. The instrumentation particularly on "The Way You Live" sings along. "Not the Sea" -- both the song and the EP -- offer a glimpse into the hopeful, wistful soul of a songwriter. I recommend listening...
